The House
Embleton House is a charming late Victorian Villa set in the historic, walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
A double fronted stone house, it is full of original features including panel doors, sash and case windows, original plasterwork and a beautiful pitch pine staircase. The wooden floors have been stripped and polished and add a special warmth to the welcome you will receive the moment you step inside the front door. Our overall wish is to offer a friendly welcome to families, couples and single travellers with a choice of a double, twin or single room.
The sitting room, with an open fire for chilly winter evenings, is open to guests, as is the garden with its lawn, hedges and mature apple and pear trees.
Our most recent addition is the renovation of the old stable block in the garden. It offers a delightful single or double room, each with its own shower, washbasin and toilet.
